Frequently asked questions.
How do we get started ?
Fill out your information, and I will get back to you ASAP via email and/or phone and we can go over any details or special requests you may have for your picnic. Once we have finalized the details of your picnic, I will email you an itemized invoice and final cost. We ask that a 50% non-refundable deposit be paid to reserve your date & time. We are always reachable during work hours through email and/or DM on Instagram or Facebook.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes, absolutely you can. We will always provide a charcuterie board, however there is always the option to “add on” additional foods for a fee.
What if it rains?
If it rains on the day of your picnic, we can either move it to another day or we can move it to an indoor location of your choice. Unfortunately, we do not offer a refund if the weather stops the picnic. We will work together if we see the weather may be a problem and reschedule.
What if it's too hot or humid?
Unfortunately, humidity and high temperatures are not grounds to cancel/reschedule .
What if I have an emergency and can not make it?
Communicate with us, and we can work together in rescheduling. We understand emergencies are not planned so we can definitely move the picnic to another date that is available.
What if I am late?
We are flexible about unforeseen scenarios making you late (traffic, babysitter issues etc). We have a grace period of 15 minutes that will allow you a little more time to arrive at your picnic.
What if I break something from the picnic set up?
All that we ask is that you and your guest are respectful of our picnic set up. We understand accidents can happen and we just want everyone to be mindful of the decor and glassware.
Do I pick out my location ?
Yes of course you can pick your location, as long as we can set up in a public park and the closing hours of that park are within the 2 hours for your set up.
I can also recommend locations in the DMV area that are wonderful for your picnic day.
What is your cancellation policy ?
We can reschedule your picnic up until 48 hrs. We are not able to reschedule picnics within a 48 hour period before your time slot. Of course if a cancellation must be made because of weather, we will definitely accommodate you in this case.
Are there any Covid-19 precautions taken?
Yes, most definitely.
All items are disinfected and sanitized for your picnic. If you would like disposable cutlery and glassware, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you.
Upon your arrival, we will be masked up.
Also, all food is handled with disposable gloves during preparation and serving.
We respect and follow the guidelines given to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Can I bring my own food?

What if I am late?

Do you travel outside of the DC, Maryland and Virginia area?
We will travel outside of the DMV area as long as its within 25 miles of the city limits. Anything further than 25miles will bc $1 per each extra mile needed to get to the location.

We can reschedule your picnic up until 48 hrs. We are not able to reschedule picnics within a 48 hour period before your time slot. Of course if a cancellation must be made because of weather, we will definitely accommodate you in this case.
